KITCHEN SCHEDULE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- The kitchen operates with two shifts, one in the morning and one in the evening, to ensure smooth functioning.
- Each shift should have 5-6 people.
- Usually, each shift takes 5 to 6 hours. The rest of the day is free time.
- The shifts are being decided between the members of the international volunteers and their coordinator.
Kitchen schedule:
- Morning shift:
- Breakfast preparation, kitchen cleaning and possible future meals preparation: 08.00 am to 09.30 am.
- Snack: 10.30 am
- Lunch preparation and kitchen cleaning: 12.45 pm to 15.45 pm.
- Evening shift:
- Snack and possible future meals preparation: 16.45 pm.
- Dinner preparation and kitchen cleaning: 19.45 pm to 22.15 pm.
Cooking is not done by volunteers. Instead, the camp has a professional cook responsible for preparing the food.
- Main tasks:
- Meal preparation
- Cut bread.
- Prepare dessert (fruit)
- Prepare dinnerware.
- Prepare cutlery.
- Dish washing.
- Perform kitchen cleaning tasks.

Volunteers are encouraged to engage in activities of their choice during their free time, whether it’s resting or participating in children’s activities. We are trying our best to think of ideas on how to make the volunteers more involved with the kids.
